About Tiffany Carey

Tiffany Carey of Minneapolis, Minnesota, has been doing gymnastics for 32 years. Since, she has competed in countless meets and won even more medels. She represented Special Olympics USA in artistic gymnastics in the 2023 Special Olympics World Games in Berlin, Germany. She took home gold in All-Around, Silver in Uneven Bars, Bronze in Vault and Floor, and 4th in Beam. She also competed in the 2006 Special Olympics USA Games, where she won one gold, two silver and two bronze medals. Inspired by gymnast Simone Biles, Tiffany strongly believes in the power of teamwork, cheering on everyone who participates.

Part of a large family, Tiffany enjoys helping her six siblings with her nieces and nephews by attending their sports games and concerts, proudly cheering for them. In addition to competing, she performs the national anthem at Special Olympics Minnesota’s state-level gymnastics competitions. Competing in the Special Olympics World Games Berlin 2023 is the dream of a lifetime, one that she has been working hard to achieve.
