*This summer Mini-Hops is offering its first ever Carnival Inclusion summer camp! This is the same great MHG camp experience, but with partnered activities for this week. This camp will be open to our Adaptive Gymnastics participants with differing abilities as well as participants with neurotypical abilities. This week, those wanting to enroll in this unique experience will submit a “Get to know me!” Application. Before July 5th begins, our coaches will pair up both a neuro-typical athlete and an adaptive athlete based on their alike interests from their applications, similar to Unified Partners through Special Olympics MN. Campers will have professionally trained coaches that will help individuals develop and build gymnastics skills, while also providing teambuilding and partnership activities. Mini-Hops Impact Statement states: We believe that impacting kids of all abilities and their families with positive and powerful life lessons is the most effective way to develop better leaders and build stronger communities. This camp is Mini-Hops way of coming together as a community to equalize the ability level and teach others of inclusion and acceptance. Information will be provided to both families about their student’s “partner” for the week, beforehand.

Pick Up/Drop Off
DROP OFF
Campers will be dropped off and picked up at the West Entrance in the roundabout. There will be no early drop-off. Starting at 8:30 am, a coach will come to your vehicle to escort your child into the gym. Please stay in your vehicle until a coach comes to have you check-in. At this time, inform the coach if you intend on doing an early pick-up. You can also call the Front Desk and inform them of any changes to your drop-off/pick-up times. This allows the coaches to have time to prepare for your arrival. When campers are dropped off, they will come into the building with their belongings in hand. From there, campers will be given hand sanitizer before entering the camp room. If campers are showing any symptoms of illness on arrival, we will ask that the camper stay home for the day, and we will do a follow-up call to determine how to proceed for the remainder of their time with us.
PICK UP
Your child(ren) must be picked up by 4:30 pm, campers will be picked up at the West Entrance. We will have a similar system for pick up as we did for drop-off. A coach will come out to your vehicle with your camper for pick up. Please stay outside in your vehicle until a coach comes out with your camper. If you are not able to pick up by 4:30 pm you need to notify the front desk by calling (952) 933-2452.

Billing:
Payment for the first week of Camp (June 13-17) will be processed on June 9, 2022. Billing for subsequent weeks will be done the Thursday of the week prior.
Allergies:
MHG is not able to provide a completely peanut-free space, but we take all the precautions we can to prevent reactions. During snack or lunchtime, those with allergies specified during enrollment will sit at a clean, disinfected table with their own snack that they provide. All hands are washed before and after snack and lunch. We recommend to families that they provide an Epi-pen, which they will bring in with them each camp day and is kept in the lockable camp cabinet and taken home at the end of each day. Staff is trained in administering the Epi-pen if necessary.
Cancellation Procedure:
We reserve the right to cancel camps due to low enrollment. If a camp is canceled by MHG customers can choose between a refund or a credit. When a customer needs to cancel no refunds, only credits will be given with at least a 24-hour notice. No credit will be given without a 24-hour notice.
No make-ups or free trials are offered for this program.
Sibling discounts do not apply.
