Pick Up/Drop Off

DROP OFF

Campers will be dropped off and picked up at the West Entrance in the roundabout. There will be no early drop-off.  Starting at 8:00 am, a coach will come to your vehicle to escort your child into the gym. Please stay in your vehicle until a coach comes to have you check-in. At this time, inform the coach if you intend on doing an early pick-up. You can also call the Front Desk and inform them of any changes to your drop-off/pick-up times. This allows the coaches to have time to prepare for your arrival. When campers are dropped off, they will come into the building with their belongings in hand. From there, campers will be given hand sanitizer before entering the camp room. If campers are showing any symptoms of illness on arrival, we will ask that the camper stay home for the day, and we will do a follow-up call to determine how to proceed for the remainder of their time with us.

PICK UP

Your child(ren) must be picked up by 12:30pm (4 year old) or 4:00 pm (5+ year), if you are not able to pick up by 12:30pm / 4:00 pm you need to notify the front desk by calling (952) 933-2452.

– Families will enter the roundabout and remain in their cars.  There will be parking located at the west entrance that is reserved for pick up and drop off if a family needs to come in to retrieve their campers.  East entrance parking is also an option. Families that enter the building MUST check out with a camp staff member before taking their child(ren) home.

– Coaches will bring campers to the roundabout around 3:50-3:55. Coaches will wear yellow vests to be visible to drivers.

– There will be coaches assigned to check out, traffic control, car communication, and camper monitor.  This will ensure that athletes are making it safely to their parents and safely/efficiently out of the parking lot.

Typically, this process takes between 5-15 minutes.  Any families that have campers that remain 15 minutes after 4:00, will get a courtesy call.

Camp FAQ's

Can we sign up for select days of Camp?

Yes! You can sign up for a whole week or pick and choose specific days.

When does billing for camp happen?

We will bill for each camp the Thursday before. For example, if you are signed up for Week 2 of camp (June 15-19), we will bill on Thursday June 11th.

Do discounts or scholarships apply for camp?

No, there are no discounts or scholarships for camps.

Is there a waitlist for camps?

Yes!

If I want to sign up for a full week, but some days are full and others are open, can I still sign up?

Yes! Since we open up the option to let families select specific days, you may see weeks where, for example, three days are full, but two days still have openings. If you would like to enroll in the open days, but be on the waitlist for the other days, please call us at 952-933-2452 or email us at mail@mini-hops.com. If you request enrollment through iclass in this scenario, the system will automatically put you on the Waitlist for the full week. In order to be enrolled in some days and on a waitlist for other days of a week, our Customer Service staff will need to keep track an additional way. Don’t be afraid to give us a call if you have any questions! Our staff will be glad to assist and walk you through.

Can my child be in a group with their friend?

We try our best to honor these requests, but our groups are primarily based on age. This helps us maintain consistent expectations, skill levels, and curriculum for each group. Sometimes, due to group sizes and ages, we can’t always guarantee that your child will be grouped with their friend. During camp, though, there are lots of chances for kids to hang out, eat, and play together, and we’ll do our best to pair them during activities.

Staff is trained in administering the Epi-pen if necessary.

We reserve the right to cancel camps due to low enrollment. If a camp is canceled by MHG customers can choose between a refund or a credit. When a customer needs to cancel no refunds, only credits will be given with at least a 48-hour notice. No credit will be given without a 48-hour notice.
