Girls Gymnastics Classes
Girls Kindergarten Class
60 min
This class is for girls who are currently in Kindergarten, with beginner to intermediate gymnastics experience. Students will learn fundamental skills on traditional girls’ apparatus including floor, beam, bars, vault, and trampoline, along with building greater overall strength and confidence for continued skill development. They will work on skills including: cartwheels, handstand variations, pullovers, backward and forward rolls, trampoline drops, safety falls, and more! Gymnasts generally remain in the grade level program for up to two years or more before acquiring all of the skills necessary to advance. Students will be consistently evaluated by their instructor for safety, strength, and skill readiness for the next level.
Girls 1st Grade Class
60 min
This class is for girls who are currently in 1st Grade, with beginner to intermediate gymnastics experience. Students will learn fundamental skills on traditional girls’ apparatus including floor, beam, bars, vault, and trampoline, along with building greater overall strength and confidence for continued skill development. This class is for girls who are currently in 2nd-3rd Grade, with beginner to intermediate gymnastics experience. Girls 4th Grade & Up Class

This class is for girls who are currently in 4th Grade or above, with beginner to intermediate gymnastics experience. Girls 6th Grade & Up Class

This class is for girls who are currently in 6th Grade or above, with beginner to intermediate gymnastics experience. Ninja Kindergarten

This class is for boys and girls who are above 5 years of age and in Kindergarten class. Learning jump, flips, kicks in sequence “Ninja” Tumbling skills.
All Events Gymnastics (1st Grade & Up)

Mini-Hops Gymnastics is continually striving to enhance the development of each child. Our Day Gymnastics Program class provides life-long fitness skills for school-age children who can get to the gym mid-day. The areas of discipline that will be covered include: Fitness, confidence building, gross motor training, and ball sport training.
Girls Invitational Only Program
These classes are designed for gymnasts who have developed good basic gymnastics ability and personal confidence through the Progressive Classes to begin moving on to more complicated gymnastics skills. In this level, gymnasts will being preparation for learning more complicated acrobatics on all events. Gymnasts may remain in this level for up to a full year or more before acquiring all of the skills necessary to advance. Students will be consistently evaluated by their instructor for safety, strength, and skill readiness for the next level.
Girls Level 1
90 min – Recommended attending class 2x/week.
This is an invitation-only class designed for gymnasts who have mastered basic gymnastics skills, strength, focus, and personal confidence to begin moving on to more complex gymnastics skills. In this level, gymnasts will begin preparation for learning more complicated acrobatics on all events, including but not limited to: an introduction to back handsprings, gliding, casting, and circling skills on bars, acrobatics on low and medium beams, handstand flat-back vaults, and will also be introduced to gymnastics specific conditioning. Gymnasts may remain at this level for up to a full year or more before acquiring all of the skills necessary to advance. Students will be consistently evaluated by their instructor for safety, strength, and skill readiness for the next level.
Girls Level 2
90 min – Recommended attending class 2x/week.
This is an invitation-only class designed for gymnasts who have mastered the Level 1 gymnastics skills and strength and possess the focus and personal confidence to begin moving on to more advanced gymnastics skills. In this level, gymnasts will continue development on complex acrobatics on all events, including but not limited to: the back handspring on floor, front and backflipping techniques, kips, swings, and circles on bars, as well as a more regimented focus on conditioning and strength building. Their beam skills will move to medium and high beam and include dance in addition to acrobatics. Students will also develop a strong front handspring and half-on over a mat and to begin to transition to handsprings over a vault table. They will also begin an introduction to twisting. Gymnasts may remain at this level for up to two years or more before acquiring all of the skills necessary to advance. Students will be consistently evaluated by their instructor for safety, strength, and skill readiness for the next level.
