Aaron started at Mini-Hops in November of 2016. My education is in sport and exercise science and I also own and operate a strength & conditioning, nutritional counselling business called Elevate Strength & Conditioning. Aaron was a competitive soccer player up through club level college soccer at the U of MN and coached local youth and high school programs for many years. He brings a hunger to become the best gymnastics coach I can be, studying tirelessly to add to my knowledge about the sport. He has over 20 years’ experience coaching soccer, volleyball and sports performance fitness and am an expert in sports nutrition. Aaron has a passion and  has always been in mentoring and nurturing youth to become both excellent athletes and excellent people. He has been a nationally licensed soccer coach to work with toddlers through professionals for over 20 years working with local soccer clubs and high schools. He also worked for performance gyms and now own my own company working with youth to reduce injuries, prepare for competition and improve physical performance. Saying that Aaron has a large knowledge of fitness and education would be an understatement!

Aaron grew up as an Air Force BRAT moving around the country, but the Twin Cities has always been home. His family owns the iconic Minnetonka Drive-In in the Lake Minnetonka area. He is married to his wonderful wife Kelly and their daughter, Aubrey, is currently in the Mini-Hoppers program here at MHG. Aaron is a total history buff and he loves learning languages (currently working on learning 17). He enjoys cooking and eating great food. Aaron try to find opportunities to participate in outdoor activities like fishing, camping, hiking, paddling or anything else that’s outdoors. Fun fact: His wife and him work for Major League Soccer as and Official Event Observer during Minnesota United FC games to make sure fan experience is the best it can be.
